Chad Smith: Chad Smith is a committed and dedicated educator with 12 years of high school experience. Mr. Smith began his career as a science teacher at Baldwin Park High School and Fullerton High School before returning to his alma mater, Tustin High. Mr. Smith served as a teacher, activities director and football coach before taking on the role of Assistant Principal. Mr. Smith served as the AP of discipline, facilities, athletics, activities and curriculum & instruction. He has a penchant for instructional technology and has implemented both a 1:1 technology program and a virtual online curriculum platform. In 2012, Mr. Smith became the Principal of South Hills High School in West Covina, California. While at South Hills, Mr. Smith implemented the International Baccalaureate program and the Business Enterprise Academy. In 2015, Mr. Smith left South Hills and currently serves at the Coordinator of Student Services in Capistrano Unified School District. Mr. Smith is passionate about providing students with a unique and valuable educational experience and believes that it is every educator’s duty to create extraordinary futures for their students.
